    Its definitely his level. However he's still a terrible footballer. Not looking forward to watching him at all next season.

    I'd be happy to see him sign a new deal he's not as bad as some on here make out, we could do a lot worse on our budget

    He seems to have impressed Danny and at the end of the day its down to his judgement.If the boss wants him as part of his squad next season that's good enough for me.

    Think its a no brainer tbh its definitely a decent signing for that league to get rid of him would be cutting off our noses to spite our face imo.
    But after the last couple of seasons I'm not sure whether the club gives a toss about the fans thoughts especially after Bobby Hassel has been shamefully left out of a team that has consistently lacked the quality,heart and desire he possesses.

    I'd be happy wi Dawson signing a new deal, unlike most on here, I still rate him and I'll admit he has been disappointing this season. But, I believe he'd be really useful in League 1.

    Anyway what's happening wi his possible banning situation? Av I missed somet?

    I don't get this he will be decent in L1. Do players not need to be able to pass, tackle, shoot or control a ball in that league?

    "A host of championship clubs", did you read that CT. Seriously I don't think there were a host of championship clubs after him but regardless I think this is good news for us. I honestly think he will be a very effective player in league one.

    Dale were rumoured to be after Dawson last time we were promoted to L1, it would be very disappointing if we were this time around.

    Never seen the big deal around him even when he was at Bury and touted as a great lower league midfielder. Runs about a lot, harries, sometimes wins the ball sometimes kick it into touch. Ace.
