Re: So have they chalked **** For something well organised, good entertainment, a chance to chat with the players & management (backed by not being relegated admittedly) and you'd fill it. Just needs commercially minded, positive outlook. Last twice - I'd have been embarrassed to charge anything.
Re: So have they chalked **** Do you think he's here to shift the culture because as far as I can see it, culture comes from the top.
Re: So have they chalked **** I think he has to. Otherwise nothing else can change. Whether that was in his original remit is immaterial.
Re: So have they chalked **** I'd have two, well, three: All awards firstly presented on the pitch, last game of the season. Get The Chronicle back involved with the voting, advertise the whole thing well, try to get fans down to the game early on that last day (tough ask if we've been relegated like, but hopefully we won't be seeing that again for a few years.) Then a sponsors POTY dinner and a fans POTY dinner. One of them smaller, more expensive, more refined, open to everyone but marketed at those that sponsor the players or take out exec boxes. Second one bigger, cheaper, bit more of a knees up. No reason to skimp on quality at either, but just offer different things.
Re: So have they chalked **** The "Enterainment" at last one could have come from a piss take sketch from Pheonix nights.
Re: So have they chalked **** Probably needs longer than that just to get some of the things that currently he has no control over back in his hands to improve things. Also without having mountains of cash it will be a slow process but improvements have been made already. I think the "slippery" comments are unfair also.
Re: So have they chalked **** He wouldn't have made it as a lawyer without having the ability to be slippery imo. However, i do think we should as i said, give him another year to see if changes are visible or going the right way at least. time will tell....i am hopeful tbh
Re: So have they chalked **** Well that's not my experience form the lawyers I know. Think you've been watching too much TV
Re: So have they chalked **** Well it is my experience of lawyers...they are clever people who know how to get what they want and how to work 'within the law'. They also provide a service which pays top dollar (fair enough) and I would rather have Jason than The Don if i am honest at the helm. i honestly do wish him success as he is at the club i have been watching since i was ten....and barring death I dare say i will be still watching, when he has long since left the building. And to say i have been watching 'too much tv' is rather patronising to me also, but thats your perogative i guess. This forum is about opinions and we all have own and are entitled to them as long as not abusive etc.
Re: So have they chalked **** If that's you opinion, your experience of such professionals must be very limited or skewed by TV, thus my response. Hope that helps.
Re: So have they chalked **** Freeman is known as Mr Loophole for the amount of celebrities he's got off driving offences. Cochran is probably the most famous lawyer ever for getting OJ Simpson off.
Re: So have they chalked **** if it helps you fair enough. You are obviously the fountain of all knowledge and cannot accept anyone else's opinion. that's fine by me....crack on
Re: So have they chalked **** whoever comes in will bring their own culture meet the new boss same as the old boss
Looks like the bird ***** is on the retained list then. Better contract than Kennedy that, 4th season approaching.
