Starlings in roof

    looks like we've got some starlings nesting under eaves, anyone help in getting rid of the buggers ?

    Try a hand grenade, might not have a house left but will certainly work,

    Just check house insurance first, there's always a catch

    The chicks will nearly be ready for leaving by now, thats what the noise will be (chicks being fed in our garden for the last couple of days and they usually all seem to fledge around the same time;)). Starling numbers are dropping like mad across the country so you should feel privileged to have them there.


    Anyway they'll be gone in a day or two......yer miserable bu66er :p

    They'll have been there at least a month so they can't have been that mucky.....just wear a hat when leaving the house for the next few days :D

    We have House Martins and Blue Tits nesting every year, they do make a mess but it's great sitting in the garden watching them.

    Wait till the chicks have flown, probably couple of weeks. There is some plastic pieces you then fit under the tiles which stops birds getting under. You will always have the problem if you do not repair it.
    Get the ladder out and repair your roof
