I guess he's try to get things moving as well because Barcelona have a pending transfer ban. It's on hold pending an appeal.

 

It's the lack of self-respect from footballers that I don't understand. When I played, you wouldn't let anyone know you'd been hurt. If someone crunched through you with a two footed tackle you'd get straight up and make out you were fine, even if they'd almost broke you in two and all you really wanted to do was cry. You'd even try to run off a broken leg. Why? Because you wanted to prove they hadn't bettered you "I'm stronger and harder than you and even if you cheat and fly in with a stupid arse tackle you'll not hurt me." These day they feign injury when they haven't even been touched. I can't get my head around that. Why would you want to let the opposition know they'd hurt you? I can understand diving. I don't agree with it, I hate it, but I understand it gets you an advantage over the opposition. But I don't understand what advantage there is to be had by being a big ******* jessie. What do you get out of showing everyone you're week as piss? I dunno how they look their families in the eye.

Same with this ****. If Touré wants to move to Barcelona, why doesn't he just say, "I want to move to Barcelona." You're allowed to move to Barcelona. Nobody will think less of you for it. There'll be some disappointed Man City fans, who'll display that emotion in anger, but there's nowt wrong with wanting to work and live in another city. However, say that you're not happy because no one wished you happy birthday and everyone will think less of you. They'll think you're a ******* arsehole and rightly so. Why on earth did he think this approach was a good idea? Because he's got no back bone, no self respect and he couldn't contemplate telling folk the truth as then he would no longer be the hero. Worra tit.
