Our grandfathers fought for freedom in Europe. It's a betrayal of their legacy to vote UKIP or any other party that campaigns along racially divided lines.

That's a very sad comment to make. Many many councillors out there, from all walks of life or political leaning, are doing their best for their local constituents. That's why they are local elections. If you aren't happy then understand who is running and meet the candidates and make an informed choice.

Thousands of different seats but they are all branded "self absorbent snakes". I'm not having a go. Entitled to your own opinion. But it's like the other posters branding all UKIP "racist" or all conservatives "toffs". Good and bad in all. Use your vote wisely.
