froach v groves fight

quick stupid question but can you order it through your sky box?

only reason I ask is when its been advertising the fight it its says to book you need to phone sky or book online, ive just clicked on to box office and said to order just press select which I did but just seeing if anyone else has booked it through their sky box, cause I don't want it to get to Saturday and it turns out ive just put a reminder for boxing and not actually ordered it

 

Only if you have internet connected to the box

Otherwise you can call and order over the phone

cheers pal, ive got wireless connected to sky box, it does say its ordered just didn't want it to get to 6pm Saturday night sat their with mates round staring at a blank screen

I cant wait, got Friday off work so will be watching the weigh in, really want groves to win but got a feeling froach is gonna win by late stoppage.

I got offered the chance to go to fight, think tickets were £80 but was sat near front of lower tier in stands and I went to hatton fight at the man city stadium and was sit in sort of same place and I spent most of night watching the fight on the giant screen above the ring so decided to watch the fight at home

 

Can't wait myself mate

The atmosphere will be great but I went to first fight between the 2 and that was a nightmare to see so wasn't going to Wembley

Don't want to go into town either as you end up missing half the fight getting a pint ha ha

Ordering it tomorrow.

Wangled Sunday off work, so I can have a few drinks and watch the undercard too, with no worrying about a headache the next day.

 

I watched haye vs chisora in chennels and missed both knock downs cause I was queuing for a pint so wont be doing that again

 

I could get it on a live stream, a decent quality one at that, but for a fight like this I have to have it on HD on the big telly, no chance of the connection cutting out at a bloody stupid moment. And with no football of late to fork out for, the missus isn't mithered.

What time will the main event be roughly? I've no interest in the undercard.

 

After 10. Depends how the earlier fights go.

 

2145 apparently. I ordered via box too and checked with sky was ordered. They said not but eventually said it was....

 

Ring walk for main event scheduled for 9.45pm. But as Ponty says, depends on t'other fights.

 

To order owt through Box Office you only need your Sky box to be connected to a phone line. To check it's worked go back into Box Office and select what you have ordered and it should show a reminder icon at the side. You will not be charged until you view.

 

No it doesn't it's got to start at 22-00 due to terms of license any later and it as to be abandend on safety grounds,even if it means getting the under card fighters in as soon as the fight before finishes they'll start at 22-00 and first fight is only 6 rounds at most too.

 

It's listed as 10pm on the bookies sites so it won't start before then.

 

As I said it's got to be 22-00 no if buts or maybe no matter what happens in fights before it will start at 22-00 it can not start any later .

No, later if it can't start at 22-00 it can't start at all, according to terms of agreement with the licensing board, Brown Eddy said on radio talk sport when they announced it would be held at wembley, they could only fit in 4 under card fights and one is a 6 rounder because they have to have the main fight on at 22-00 no later if for any reason this doesn't happen then the fight will be called off so it will by hook or by crook start at 22-00 no matter what, he would have liked to have 6 fights on the bill but it's just not possible with the curfew in place as it is, with it as it is if all fights go the distance it will still go off on time
