Re: Official Site : Nana Boakye-Yiadom signs first professional contract at Barnsley Only time will tell but when people are using the we need time gel excuse in September I'll bump this thread
Re: Official Site : Nana Boakye-Yiadom signs first professional contract at Barnsley Aye, because signing a load of players today, in ******* May, is going to make them all gel. There'll be no footballers gelling at Oakwell until July 1st. For **** sake, pal.
Re: Official Site : Nana Boakye-Yiadom signs first professional contract at Barnsley Like I said we'll see, every season we're ***** and this season will be no different because perpetration and organisation is none existent at the club.
Re: Official Site : Nana Boakye-Yiadom signs first professional contract at Barnsley We need to sign the right people even if it takes abit longer. What we don't need is to sign that many players now for the sake of it.
Re: Official Site : Nana Boakye-Yiadom signs first professional contract at Barnsley I think thats a really good point that people really should think about. Young kids, new managers, new club staff... we always give them a great welcome don't we??? I wonder if a player has ever decided not to sign/ re-sign based on comments they've read on here?
Re: Official Site : Nana Boakye-Yiadom signs first professional contract at Barnsley I would if I was a player and it's even worse on facebook.
Re: Official Site : Nana Boakye-Yiadom signs first professional contract at Barnsley I hope we get the opportunity to see these young lads in our pre season friendlies. Taking into account there'll be quite a few newcomers signing in the coming weeks, it makes me wonder how many of our line up I'll recognise! Perhaps not as many as those playing for the opposition!
Re: Official Site : Nana Boakye-Yiadom signs first professional contract at Barnsley On here it `ll be they look promising to ***** wi in 3 weeks al bet. If giving em time is ever needed then now is the time. Think I`ll hibernate, giz a shart when weve got a squad Lil.
Re: Official Site : Nana Boakye-Yiadom signs first professional contract at Barnsley We should certainly be more robust in demanding higher transfer fees, can't argue with that but if a player wants to go there is a limit to how tough you can play it. For every Suarez there are plenty of examples of players getting the monk on because they aren't getting a move and it being counter productive. I have confidence is Mansford in getting competitive money if (and only if) we have to sell Crainie, O'Grady etc. I'm not sure I'd accuse us of penny pinching over the last few seasons. In fact quite the opposite, I think we've squandered far too many pennies. It's all very well accusing the club of being short sighted and not having a plan but the two occasions in recent times where we have a clear strategy laid out, it's failed. Firstly with Keith Hill, reduce loanees, buy players permanently and treat as 'assets' to sell on. An admirable plan in theory, but he was taking us down so we sacked him. Secondly, Flitcrofts 'assurances' and the renewing of contracts (in good time pre-season) again he was taking us down so we sacked him.
Re: Official Site : Nana Boakye-Yiadom signs first professional contract at Barnsley I'll give you a call on Tuesday 1st July, old mate.
Re: Official Site : Nana Boakye-Yiadom signs first professional contract at Barnsley That`ll be fine. Batteries recharged for pre-season training.
Re: Official Site : Nana Boakye-Yiadom signs first professional contract at Barnsley Eight new players from various points in the footballing pyramid coming in, with a couple moving out.
Re: Official Site : Nana Boakye-Yiadom signs first professional contract at Barnsley Congrats to Nana or have I got the wrong thread...looks a talent from my limited viewings.
Re: Official Site : Nana Boakye-Yiadom signs first professional contract at Barnsley Dear Mr Nana, congratulations on your first pro contract. From what I saw on the highlights last season you seem to have an eye for goal - keep working at it son and we hope you make it into the first team when you're ready.
