So you don't like discussing tactics, goals, players old & new, grounds, managers, etc. etc. There's a line though & you seem to cross it every time by constantly criticising everything & everybody.
I tend to agree with most things Conan says actually and probably fall into the same category of fan, but I also agree that it can be overkill at times... Hey ho, the rich tapestry and all that...
It's a funny game - this time last year we all thought Flicker was the next Guardiola, never known so many people be behind the manager, barely six months later everyone wanted rid. The reaction next season is going to be interesting, putting a team together in this league seems to be more about luck and how the players play together as opposed to how much money you've got.
Bit of an over generalisation but there has definitely been a lack of ambition at the club - last 7 years or so it's all been about trying to stay up, surely a more positive approach would have transferred to the players and fans and we'd have done better. The last few managers also seemed to have signed players who never showed any evidence at their previous (lower league) club that they were going to be good enough for our first team, surely when you sign players they should be better than what you've already got as opposed to just filling the squad out, we've got a youth team for that. Surely it's better to have one player who you are fairly confident is going to be good for the team (I know they don't all work out) than three players in the mould of Lee Collins.
Wanting our team to do well is IMO every BFC supporters wish But being a supporter is through thick and thin and every setback is not a conspiracy theory by the powers that be.especially in the case of BFC its called football ,all clubs go through different periods in their lifetime of success, downtimes and mediocrity. Its not set in stone otherwise it would be boring. Rotherham are now having some time in the sun at our or Donny's or yeovils expense .it happens its football .
