Ward Green rec. Still there, as far as I know. Unless they've built a Tuscan village on it.

It was never an official pitch, but we played cricket, football on what we called 'the green' in the lower part of Birdwell off Coltfield/Coronation Drive.

Bet it's not there now, Google Maps has some building work on it.

Depending on our respective ages- we must know each other Farnham! Also played on Ship Croft Field and a very onesided game of football on the Roly Poly Field in the Park! There was also a very flat area in bottom corner of the Hillies where we played Football and Cricket!

When I was a young lad in Elsecar, we laiked on the school field (for the school team) in school time, and outside of school too. Just off Zetland Road. Still there, according to google maps: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.4...!1e1!3m2!1sb88DH9RnOEQL8zywpBUDxg!2e0!6m1!1e1

Also in Elsecar, Welland Crescent fields. They never had goalposts (unlike the school field) but were massive and surrounded by overlooking houses to one side, bushes/trees/footpath to the other (still visible, on the left). Just learnt via google maps that it's now a ******* housing estate. Basterds: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.5...!1e1!3m2!1szpTiks59AcZEzGVH0vGR9g!2e0!6m1!1e1

Finally from that area, we used to play on the huge fields off Millhouses Street. Seems to be still there: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place...0x48797a77ad1cd6a3:0xfea0e1ddfdce85fb!6m1!1e1
