Keith Hill is our manager again apparently. Well he must be cos junior thereev has just had a special birthday card delivered as part of junior tykes / saving scheme or whatever and Keefy and Flicker were on the front with all the terrific squad they assembled. That must mean they are bringing all the old players back too. I know this is true because it is signed inside by 'Keith Hill, first team manager'. What a revelation...... or is it just pish poor customer services....again? Hopethishelps
Is it from the football club or is it from the financial institution where your lad has the savings account? Presumably Barnsley Building Society. Or, to be more accurate, Yorkshire Building Society, as Barnsley Building Society doesn't really exist any more, only as a trading name.
Dunno but if it is sending stuff out that makes the club look even sillier, then the club need to sort it. Fek me, it's easy this CEO lark innit. Hth
I would seriously bring this to the attention on the club, someone somewhere needs to take responsibility, and address the issue
I said the same in fact I phoned about it and was told to email the marketing team which I did - I haven't had a response and that was March.
Question is, who is responsible for stuffing the envelopes and sending them out, failing to notice that we been through two managers since those cards were valid? We do we bother? The rate we go through managers we ought to just have a picture of the ground, the club badge and a happy birthday message. I bet Hill was sacked before the ink was dry at the printers...
I could kind of understand one with Flicker as manager, although that's still poor, but they might just not make new cards until the end of the season. One with Hill though? That's really bad!
I'm not sure they reply to people on any of the email addresses. Sending one to Mansford is a waste of time. The last time I got a response from anyone at Oakwell was in the days of Michael Spinks and Chris Patzelt. Better in those days anyway getting a professional looking letter with their signature on with a nice reply.
