I hadn't heard of Happy Valley until I saw your post, so me and the missus caught up with it on the iplayer and then watched last week's through our fingers. We've spent much of the past few weeks traumatised and I just wanted to let you know that if anything happens to the kid tonight we'll be holding you totally responsible!

Snap. I'd not even heard of it until the floppy haired, footballer shmoozing one mentioned it and I'm glad I've watched it. Best I've seen in ages.

If there was any way I could stop Tommy Lee Royce myself then I assure you I would.

Not as floppy haired as I was this morning. Just cut me own hair. Genuinely. Probably not the best decision I've ever made.

I'm not posting pictures of myself on this forum. Anyway, how will you know? This morning I had long, messy, curly hair. Now I've got long, messy, curly hair but a few inches shorter.

Well it's true that I won't know if it is shorter or not, but you made it sound like you'd now got a rather interesting haircut.

I have. On that score you can be assured. Imagine Beaker from the muppets on a bad hair day, but not ginger. Or maybe a chimney sweeps brush.

Does it look worse than before?

It can't look worse than before.

It's been effin brilliant. Read an article at weekend, when he beat the cop woman up tOther week it was a stunt woman. He was actually physically punching and kicking her for real. It's no wonder it was realistic. He'd never had a fight in his life and was traumatised having to do it!
    Roll on 9pm!

    Am I off the hook?

Don't think I've ever seen a better acting performance than Sarah Lancashire over that series. It wasn't like watching acting, it was just too real. Utterly brilliant.

Sarah Lancashire was absolutely fantastic, as was James Norton. They both deserve awards for this series.

I thought the ending was great. Saw a few people on Facebook saying ending wasn't good but I totally disagree.

I loved how Lancashire dealt with that tw@t of a boss of hers. Proper telly

The moral of the story is don't try and get your kid into a posh school. It'll all end in tears.

Because it was Jay, and I trust him as an arbiter of taste, I've blitzed the whole series this week.

Quality. And Sarah Lancashire can act the pants of the cast majority of anyone else on telly.

    Ta Jay.
