If you drive at 50mph in a 60mph zone then 40mph in 30mph zone you're a massive Bellend of the highest order

No not had my normal cup of tea before work because I didn't have time when I got here due to a arsehole driver. It really pisses me off, some people only drive at 40 mph no matter what the limit is, they should be banned for 12 months and made to resist their test again.

I get that all the time after the Kings Lynn area and through North Norfolk - they just go 40 no matter what, which is strange as there are hardly any 40 zones out that way, it's either 30 through a small village and then national speed limit in the countryside.

So you are saying you should drive to the maximum speed limit irrespective of the conditions. It's you that should consider a retest

No I'm saying you can get to where your going in the same time without braking the law so why do it, just do the speed limit and you'll get their at the same time as you do driving like that but you'd be doing so within the law and not being a Bellend this morning was perfect conditions for driving on a road that is deemed safe enough to be classed as a 60 mph

As a resident of that area I fully agree, I overtake them between villages then slow down to 29 mph as we get to the next one, it frustrates them but there's no way they can pass me and as soon as it's 60mph again I'm off!

It probably is your fault if you kill someone by recklessly overtaking. I agree it's frustrating but that's no reason to drive like a dick.

That's my point, he's the one who pushed you into it, by driving like a tart, but you shouldn't be over taking but your that frustrated you do but wouldn't if they drove like he should, I've never overtook anyone apart from on the motorway because my car doesn't have the power to do it quick enough but see plenty go round me and mr 40 at the same time and only just make it

    Hold on a minute,
you said you were late and didn't have time for a cuppa. Now you are saying it took the same time, but because your friendly neighbourhood bellend wasn't driving how you want to drive he should be banned.

No because in a 30 zone I went 30, he went 40mph and got their at the same as he would having gone the speed limit, but he broke the law to do it I was late because unlike him I stick to the speed limit but if he'd gone 60 in the 60 zone I'd have got here in time for a bru

The ones that really annoy me are those that actually overtake you in the 30 an d then still only do 40 -45 when the national limit applies

althoug on a different topic Surrey seem to have hit on a brilliant idea of making wide straight B and even some A roads 40 mph between villages which must be more dangerous and cause more accidents than if it was 60 as 99% of drivers ignore it and then have to overtake the 1% that don't I'd love to know the logic of the 40 limits ( to 1% typically being the ones that still do 40 through the villages)

Can't see why Nightmare is getting slagged for this, a lot of people seem inherently selfish. I'd feel a right idiot cruising along at 40 in a 60 with a queue of cars behind me but a lot of people do not give a t*ss, there's also the few who drive with complete tunnel vision and don't even look in the mirror at what's behind them, or indeed the signs that tell you the speed limit.

Why is it that the drivers who drive slow are the ones with 400bhp cars
