I like the taste of Carlsberg (only lager I sometimes get little cravings for) and I can't stand being any sort of drunk. Win win for me.
Yep, the perfect lager for you. As I say, I do occasionally have Fosters, for example, if I'm out all day/night. I'll have a Fosters inbetween a couple of Stella's or whatever, just to draw it out a while longer. It's weak, but dunt taste so bad. But Carling/Carlsberg just tastes bad to me.
Are you supporting Germany in Brazil? I know the Scots do, and I know you've got ties to Germany anyway. Serious question.
I was working with a German guy recently who brought me some Jever Pilsner to try, its very hoppy and has a taste a bit like bitter not at all like a usual pilsner. Very nice but I can't find anywhere that sells it, except for online.
I'm pretty sure you can get Jever in Asda/Morrisons? www.beersofeurope.com - Always a decent website to browse for foreign beers you've found on your travels.
I actually work at/for Farmers Boy. But it's Morrison's owned. They're my employer. We produce all their own branded food etc. So it helps that folk shop at Morrison's. Hint hint. Nudge nudge. I would often rather work at a store pushing trolleys though. Wage would be different, but stress levels would n all. But, money talks.
Amstel bright is by far the best lager ive ever had on my travels only available in the dutch islands of the caribbean I believe unless someone can point me elsewhere!
