    He fell down everytime he had the ball, always pretended he was injured, WHY ???
    He is a waste of a shirt playing like that .

    It's a shame cos he must have talent but every time I see him im disappointed. I honestly think his injuries have affected him but on the evidence of what ive seen in the last season he wouldn't be anywhere near the squad. I think the fact he made it speaks volumes about the options available to Hodgson.

    He spends as much time on the deck as he does on the ball. I think his injuries have made it difficult for him to run and stay upright.

    Well I thought he was one of our better players. He is made of glass though so you can't rely on him.

    I hardly watched tonight's game, my comment was based on what I've seen in the last year or so. Over-hyped to the max.

    In that case we were worse than I originally thought!!

    He really is playing poorly lately. I cant see why he went to Brazil, because he has done next to nowt this season !!

    A couple of years ago I thought he looked a good prospect, but he seems to be made of sugar and he is always on the ground, everytime he had the ball he ended up on the floor!

    To be fair he's a young lad who has had some serious injuries and is struggling to recapture the form he had. He always seems genuinely proud to play for England and if he can find his pre injury form is a decent player.

    I just can't see why he is so highly rated.

    Very poor passer of the ball. Gives it away far too much for my liking.
