16,200 tickets sold. Can't wait. Never been in Headingley with the ground full before. Should be an electric atmosphere and I hope Freddy is playing for them to add even more interest. It's ironic timing for me. Football wise, after decades of exile, I came home to the worst BFC season for a long while and endured every game with my season ticket. But cricket is a different story. My T20 season ticket at £70 for seven matches is a real bargain. Individual price for the Lancs game alone was £28. The cricket has been superb to watch. Moving up to Harrogate fairly soon so planning on quite a few more trips to Headingley before the season ends.
I went a few years ago and the atmosphere was special even though Yorkshire got battered. I'm gutted I didn't get tickets in time for this one but gunna watch it on tv.
Hmm I noticed that but I'm sure that Sir Geoffrey will have a word with someone to ensure the sun comes out in time
I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully the weather will be good enough for long enough, but if we're batting first we'd better make a speedy start just in case. Be good to see the ground full.
Not disputing the value of your season ticket, great value, but I got my tickets for Friday's game for 20 quid. Can't wait, just praying for the weather to hold up.
Hopefully we will do the double. Wish I was going. Loved it last year to see the draw. Aaron Lilley (plays in the Drakes Premiership for Delph & Dobcross) made his Lancashire debut and the captain should have known better than to have him field in front of the Western Terrace. Poor lad got dogs abuse. Being called Lilypad was probably the only clean name he was called. Mid 20s tempreture too.
Oh maybe I'm in the expensive area? Is your ticket for the White Rose stand? I'm in the north east stand lower on Friday
I went to the test on Saturday and asked about sales. Yorkshire tweeted back saying virtually a sell out. Must have been 75/80% full. Do check again on day
Well maybe they get some returns, like the theatre, but I wouldn't have thought so. Take a look at the YCCC site where it says quite clearly SOLD OUT. Seems pretty clear that there are no tickets left. http://yorkshireccc.com/news/view/2838/war-of-the-roses-clash-sold-out-at-headingley
