You should really be called Extremely Opposite.

It's a red **** with some white bits on, what else did we expect? For some reason kit manufacturers are forever looking for new and interesting areas to stick the white bits, so we end up with them in random, ridiculous places, but, it'll do. If it was the best kit I'd ever seen I still wouldn't be getting one. I'm in my 40s, I don't play football any more and I don't wear football shirts as fashion items. It doesn't really matter if I like it, I guess the club are hoping kids will like it. I would imagine plenty will want one whether they really like it or not.

I'm with Jay. They keep trying to think of new places to stick bits of white. The white bit at the front is stupid and why does 1 sleeve have an eextra white band, is this to make it look like 10 captains on the field?
Sorry - I think it's the worst home shirt in years.

I don't necessarily dislike it. It is what it is. A red shirt (not ****) with white bits on, just as I expected, and, just as I expected, they've put the white bits in different places. From my seat in The Ponty it'll look like a Barnsley shirt, which will do for me.

I really like it too, wasn't fussed about the Nike stuff after the first season we had it. They were just boringly bland overused templates, where as this is something unique; I doubt there'll be other clubs with the same design as us (can only think of us and Donny with Avec).

Dunt get the one sleeve thingy tho but ah well. All in all a decent kit IMO and will most likely be gerrin shirt. Nice to see new skipper modelling it too, shame it wasn't his bird tho! ;D

Do you moan at absolutely everything?

If you could get a big brand sponsor then go out and get one, I couldnt give a **** who is on the shirt as long as they are paying for it.

So long as I don't have to walk around with a shirt saying 'The Big Thing' on it. Again.

    You didn't "have to" then.

Although I do think criticism of the kit is fine, this is a discussion board - simply saying "well don't buy one then" is a bit ridiculous, people won't if they don't like it but they are allowed to say they don't like it.

Just seen in the club shop, has a series of holes under each arm which I think could catch on something and become tears, colour is a bit faded as well, would prefer a stronger scarlet.

Oh I did. I was at uni, it was a key part of my identity to wear a Barnsley shirt at any given opportunity!

I think it's an abomination. The white bit in the centre just below the neck looks a right mess, and why only the one white armband? Hopefully it'll grow on me, or I just become used to it, but I really wanted a shirt this year for the first time since 2005-06 and unfortunately this one won't be it. It's bad enough looking like it's been designed by a blind man, but £44? Aye, oreight.

I'll buy another retro shirt instead.

I usually buy one and even if I have to grow to like it. I get the home shirt as its released earlier and ideal for any hols. With this I simply don't like it at all. Don't like the shade and the white flashes don't offer any design improvement but as most say, look random. Wont get this one and will wait and see what the away shirt looks like if its out before Christmas.

I've got to disagree. I would love the team to turn out every year in a traditional all red shirt. However, this does not sell replicas. Designers are running out of ideas as has been said by others. This one has to be, in my opinion one of the worst. I can't think of many worse designs. Perhaps the Shaw Carpets starry one runs it close!
