Depending of spelling... Sorry but sometimes for a sale and marketing view this is the answer Oh before people have a go, I am a sales and marketing manager I just choose to act fick on ear
Had there been any family competitions for free "family tickets" for pre-season friendlies ? As in enter a comp leave your email so we can continue to push offer. What about a poll to see what you would pay fr a football shirt (they don't have to Go with the answer) I haver not see anything What about a loyality card, pay for soon many game get a game free, so people that don't have the money / time for a season ticket can still get rewarded, If the above I don't know of any as a fan. Please note these are a quick idea whilst I've had a beer from my real job
A set of clues around the ground, you have to tweet the answers in. First 6 correct get upgraded to an exec box for the game.
There's so much more I think the club could Do to raise "brand awareness" We have a great club here, but let's make everyone else know that,
When I owned the crèche for doncaster rovers (closed due to my wife having baby) My idea was a young fan page, they the future fans have a in this case a "mink tyke" page Let our young ones draw picture in Toby tyke, their favourite player, oakwell Etc er and print then pics I. The program. Photos with players and mascot, trust me family members will buy program's and in most cases more that one for Family members who don't attend to see thier kids work in an official match day programm Guess what BFC you have then more people reding / buying the programme (Wow my job is easy)
Loyalty cards at the catering outlets - get a stamp every time you buy a burger/pie/coffee, collect 5 stamps get the 6th free. Scratchcard in each programme - prizes from a free programme next game, food discount, club shop discount, bigger prizes such as ground tours, players lounge access etc. Family tickets like you get at attractions/theme parks. People walking around the perimeter at half time chucking t-shirts, mini footballs, hats, whatever into the crowd. Home vs Away penalty shoot outs/crossbar challenge. And I don't even work in marketing!!
Think that's been suggested before but it was dismissed due to some issue or other, maybe everyone would hope to get the same games free or summat (so you only add a small number of fans to most games but then the big matches where tickets could be sold are filled up with freebie folk) - I can't remember.
You'll never get schemes that suit everyone. What about those who don't eat pies? Or don't buy programmes? Or don't have kids? Take advantage of the schemes that do suit you and ignore the others. Or start tweeting or whatever the scheme is that you feel you're missing out on. Consumer choice. Fact is the club will never make everyone happy - as witnessed by the kit today, some like it, some hate it.
