    This is a clear sign that Jacob isn't prepared to knuckle down and that he wants to go and toss it off somewhere else. What a waste of a talent.

    I think we've made the right decision in the circumstances.

    Jacob won that. Probably told other clubs "Wait until Barnsley withdraw my contract offer. I will keep them waiting and then the money you save on compensation can be saved". Watch him suddenly sign for another club by the end of next week now ;)

    Statement sounds reasonable. We took on a troubled kid gave him a chance to redeem himself and put his career back on track. Initially it looked like he wanted to grasp the opportunity but latterly he seemed to care more about things outside football.

    I see nothing wrong with the statement. He didn't want to be here, he didn't want to work hard and be loyal to a team that gave him a chance to ressurect his career.

    Good luck in the future to him.

    Glad he won't be stealing a championship wage from us.

    I guess I meant that it's things in his own mind/ personality that will always hold Jacob back rather than strictly footballing matters.
