And quite right too - how would we meet the wages? Where would the transfer fees come from? rodriguez is too long for the back kids shirts. What about the scoreboard?

A new west stand and a hotel have to be main priority...

That hotel would save us a fortune. Think about it: whenever we play down south or far away, we travel and stay in a hotel before the match. If we had a hotel, they could stay there first and THEN travel down, saving the expense. Think about it.

Oh dear. It's difficult to see what could possibly have gone wrong. Loads of people go on holiday to Sheffield.

Oakwell is in totally the wrong place for a hotel, although I realise that comment was made in jest.

Although in all seriousness, it's in the wrong place for anything else that could drive further income or increase attendances to be honest.

We should have moved grounds before the redevelopment work started in the early 90's but isn't there some weird covenant on the land that made it unviable?

If we had moved, we'd have probably had a big entertainment complex built around it by now, and as it was before the 'flat pack' stadium era it might have been an interesting looking stadium as well. Wonder if any actual plans were ever drawn up?

Messi fair enough, Neymar is overrated and don't get me started on Jay Rodriguez

I wouldn't worry about that, he has his Christian name on the back of his shirt, James.
