Goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, 36, has been dropped by Leeds because the club's owner Massimo Cellino hates the fact the goalkeeper is born on 17 May. Cellino believes 17 is an unlucky number.

I like the bit from this article.... Leeds are now embarking on a cost-cutting process that has seen the canteen at their training ground closed down, meaning the players have to take packed lunches or send out for sandwiches. The players are also being made to pay to have their kits washed. Hockaday will not have control of transfer business and Cellino intends to flood the squad with free signings and cheap Italian imports. Might be fun to sit back and watch them implode..
**** me what I've been reading it seems to be true. I thought he was supposed to have had a "Fit and Proper Test?
I hope he isn't being dropped from too much of a height, Yorkshire wasn't built to be prepared for Richter scale 8 earthquakes...
Yet footy fans throughout the land crave foreign investment from such characters. For every good one there's plenty of nutters about. Hoping the dude at Hillsbrough is has similarly strange ideas!
Re: Paddy Kenny dropped by Leeds, They've only come to send you down. They've only come to send you down.
Re: Paddy Kenny dropped by Leeds, There is a story going round that Leeds players have been told to wash their own kit, and to provide their own packed lunches.
