Im not a racist person, never have been or will be. I work in Chester in a massive building my colleagues are white, black, asian people, one of my friends is an Indian lad. But I have to say im sick to death of putting the TV on and them banging on about Muslims, Allah and all that ****. Im not religious never have been and to have Muslim forced down ya neck 24/7 is now beyond a joke. UK as a nation aint that religious and we are certainly not a Muslim nation.

These ppl trying to make bombs and stuff to blow innocent ppl out of the sky, 'what the **** is that all about' , get a life. We are not on this earth for that long why spend ya time full of hatred and hurting ppl who just want to live them lives with there family and friends. There is something seriously wrong with them in the mental state.

Cliché alert. One of my best friends is...

To be fair, having 'muslim' forced down your neck literally twenty four hours a day and seven days a week, must be inconvenient. I'm glad that's not happening to me.

Maybe not. But you have just referred to Islam as 'Allah and all that ****', then referenced them making bombs and 'blowing stuff up'. So maybe not racist, but clearly blinkered and lumping an entire religion into one category.

Key thing from your post for me, is the obvious success that the government and their TV and media allies are having. Because you are one of many who see the propaganda on the news etc and firmly believe all that they show you.

I admit that were it 'actually' on our TV's 24/7 (Islam) I would be worried. Just as I'd worry if Christianity was on my TV 24/7, even though I consider myself a Christian.

This must be the fiftieth Muslim/Islamic related post on this forum in the last few months, and as I've said in others, I can assure you that whilst there are some seriously ****** up Muslim people, there are some seriously ****** up people of other religions too.

Still, I suppose it detracts from the real issues in this country, to keep vilifying a religion.

If our back 4 could defend our nets, like you defend that lot, we'd be champions of Europe like Leeds.

    'That lot'.

I wasn't defending anybody as it goes. I was stating the obvious.

I'd like a world where people judged each other on whey they were like as people rather than labelling them and stereotyping them based on that label. But then again I'd also like it if it were May 1997 once more.

Its a safety thing, if ten people live in a block of apartments near you're house and just one is a convicted kiddy fiddler, but you don't know which one you would tell you're kids to stay away altogether because you have no idea which one is the risk, if 4 of the 10 went away and only six where at home you'd still keep your kids well away, because you just don't know do you, he might be their he might not, but you're not sure so you tar them all with the same brush, the other 9 could be the nicest people your kids could ever meet but it don't matter your not taking that risk, its just human nature to be careful and defend you loved one and anyone would do the same thats acceptable.

But when people do the same with this lot its racist

    Wrong. As usual.

I wasn't then, nor have I ever defended 'that lot'. Because I don't know for sure who 'that lot' is that you're referring to. If it's the extreme and hate filled few Muslims, then no, I don't now nor will I ever defend 'them'. However, if by 'that lot' you're referring to Muslims in general, then I would agree that my many posts on the topic are somewhat defensive of them. I spend many hours/days/weeks in the company of Muslim folk, and so I judge them on that time spent with them. I don't judge a whole religious group on the actions of a tiny minority of extremist cockwombles.

Just as I wouldn't judge all BFC supporters as bigoted, close minded or rude, based on pure discussion with yourself.

But the day I'm in the wrong with my views on this subject and you're in the right, well that'll be the day that World War 2 became pointless. You know what you are...

You do realise that it's not all muslims that are doing this don't you.

Perhaps when you switch on your TV and see them "banging on about muslims, Allah and all that *****" you could possible listen, because if you had you would have seen Imams calling on people not to go to Syria and get involved, you would have seen calls at Friday prayers for people not to get radicalised.

Perhaps if you looked elsewhere you'd see positive stories about how ordinary Muslims are engaging with the community - just a few I've seen this week.

Nah it's just an ignorance thing. People are scared of things they don't understand. It's sad but true. How many people have been killed in the name of Christianity? Does it make Christians evil or wrong somehow err nope. When you judge people on race or religion or the colour of their skin does it make you racist? Not necessarily. Does it make you daft and I'll informed? Aye it does.

I know its just a bad few apples, but i tar them all with the same brush just to be safe. its what people do until they prove their good people their bad in my eyes, i'll speak to anyone anywhere me i've always been the same, but i always see them as a threat until ive assessed the situation no matter who they are football fans in a pub, kids at a bus stop, or a old man in the street, thats acceptable to people, but as soon as you say you do the same with Muslims its racist

Re: how many innocent people have been killed and tortured over the years

I dunno, but off the top of my head, around 4,000 innocent people died on 9/11 at the twin towers. The USA and its allies then murdered around 40,000 Afghan's and over 1,500,000 innocent Iraqi citizens.

Then found and shot dead Bin Laden in... Pakistan.

I dunno where to begin with that. In fact, I'll just say 'each to theirs'.

You see everyone as a threat at first - bloody hell! You see I tend to do the opposite, I like to think the best of folk at first.
