When Are We Allowed To Start Getting Concerned?

    We need God knows how many players. We have brought three in. One of whom is clearly a squad player and the other two have absolutely no experience at this level.

    All I'm hearing is that there's nothing to worry about but I'm afraid I can't share those sentiments. We're not really hearing many half decent rumours and the season kicks off in five weeks time. I can't see us having a squad together by then and we will do the exact opposite of what we claimed we wanted to do and bring in loan signings.

    This is not another negative post. I'm just concerned about where we're heading.

    Just look around the other message boards. Many, many teams in same boat.
    Chill out a bit.
    Enjoy the Summer.
    I for one am loving not being tied to a fixture list just now. I'm certainly not going to be worrying about what the squad looks like yet. If everyone else was making multiple signings, I'd give it half a thought. They're not.
    Oh, and some teams are only just launching their kits now - Brighton, Sheff Utd. Some still haven't launched 'em. We're not the last in that race either.

    World Cup, then Premier League Players on holiday, then back, then the transfer action starts for real, and the action cascades down the leagues when clubs realise who's there to go for. I'll panic in about mid September.

    My mate who supports Coventry texted me about Jim O Brien. Reckons he is the only "senior" player they have. The rest are kids.

    As I say, look on the other message boards - our situation looks to be pretty much the norm.
