    Si i put the tour de france on the tv and all i can say is seriously? Supposedly the biggest sporting event in the world and the riders have to stop because the route is blocked by spectators who are allowed to stand anywhere they want?

    Just thinking same. Egging the riders on to go faster but getting in the way which makes em go slower.

    You should see it up the Alps. Over 1m people on Alpe D'Huez last year. Riders having to stop up big climbs is nothing new. People were impeccably behaved today up Buttertubs. Get yourself to Holme Moss tomorrow, amazing atmosphere will be had.

    The difference is that that isnt allowed and the game actually stops for it and then restarts while in the tour de france the leaders carried on unhindered while those behind had to stop and lose ground to them by spectators being allowed to block their path.

    I also saw one racer being pulled by a car while chilling out and resting. Surely thats not allowed

    See my other post mrx. I have no interest in going out to see it but ill give anything a go so had no problems putting it on tv to see what I thought.
