They've signed a experienced keeper to cover Joe Hart, how am I been silly and how does it prove city have more money than sense? Didn't Man Utd pay £33m for a inexperienced 18 year old just a fortnight ago? Or is it ok for Man Utd to slash the cash because its Man Utd?
You really can be argumentative at times, can't you? Or is it just with me? Man City with a squad a forty odd players, 4 goalkeepers, including the current England Number 1 & Richard Wright (who hasn't seemed to play for years now). Their number two (can't remember who it is now) is on 20 grand a week. Then they sign another goalie. Also, been away for a couple of weeks, didn't know about Man U, who've they signed then?
Who mentioned Man Utd? I don't think its ok what they did, I think the money being splashed around at the top of the game by most clubs is disgusting and perverse.
This bloke is Argentinian, but can't get in the world cup squad. A squad where the first choice has only played 3 club games all season, and has looked dodgy as hell every time the ball's been near him. How bad must he be?
"Willy" is a fantastic keeper. I have watched him for the last two and a half seasons playing for Malaga and he has saved them on many occasions. Never seen anyone save so many goals with his feet, and he also organises the defence. I dont think that he will have gone there as 3rd choice, he will be after Harts job for sure. Last season away at Real Madrid he saved 16 shots on target, the most by any visting keeper. Maybe he will need a bit of time to settle but he is a very good keeper and leader.
