    He can't be because Mansford said they couldn't afford him and he'd never lie. Plus we'd never be stupid enough to sell our best player to our most hated rivals and one of our main promotion rivals. Also it was only the other day COG said he was happy to stay.

    COG is just another mercenary footballer in a world full of mercenary footballers e.g. Buttercup, Stones and every other player who gets offered significantly more MONEY.

    Can't say I blame em as i'd do the same...........it is not their fault bfc can't / won't ay the going rate.

    I keep saying it and I will give Jason another full season to turn things round on and off the pitch but so far nothing seems to have changed in his tenure.

    Sheffield United and Barnsley have informally agreed a price for Chris O’Grady, the Sheffield Star has revealed.
    It is known that O’Grady is on Nigel Clough’s wishlist for this summer and it is thought that he and Danny Wilson have both agreed a price that would be acceptable for the striker.
    No concrete bid has been made yet, however, and O’Grady’s demands in terms of his contract could be decisive – as the powerful front-man has already turned down a move to Charlton over the course of this transfer window.

    I know the game is all about money now and obviously we must sell certain players in order to keep going but...... Would we really sell one of our few prized assets, proven championship player to a local/promotional rival?? Absolute madness unless were selling for a stupid fee and an adequate replacement is lined up!
