No chance, all doing it And the authorities still condone it. Cortisone for chest infection? My ars.e. Contador will probably win, what a farse. Might as well have 2 races and let them get on with it.
Re: No chance, all doing it It's now as clean as any other sport. Why keep going on about cycling when the most corrupt sport is football. If it's not dangerous to health and available to every one what is the problem?
Mark Cavendish - clean as a whistle. Does anyone believe that Usain Bolt isn't a drugs cheat? Or any other top sprinter?
Tennis - rife Nadal just had 7 months off to get clean, apparently. Jamaican Athetics Association only one without compulsory dope tests. Real Madrid and Barcelona prepared for Champions League games via Dr Dope, it goes on..... Cycling are at the leading edge tho when it comes to chemistry.
I know that he did but the fact remains that he knew he should have had one but chose to miss it due to his scheduling. Doubts must always remain as to why though and what if anything he did in the period he knew he was safe from being found out.
I think the accusation should be thrown at the USA athletes, not cycling , myself! Tyson Gay and Justin Gattlin are just the tip of the iceberg !
Bolt made steady progression through the ranks from being a junior. He didn't just jump from being a loser to being top dog. What do you think he could be on?
Mark mentioned the two athletes who have convinced me that Bolt is on drugs. Gatlin and Gay. They've been found guilty and they still can't best him - over 100 metres?? Either the drugs don't work or he is beyond super human.

Thanks - that was an interesting read. I don't know about Bolt, I've seen Michael Johnson give a good explanation for Bolt's speed based on biomechanics and sports science. On the other hand Bolt is a notoriously reluctant trainer and he loves to party. As someone else has pointed out - two hard running, hard training rivals, of no small talent, on drugs, get blown into the weeds by him. I guess his performances are literally incredible at times. :-/
I'd be very surprised if drug useage amongst some football clubs isn't rife. Look at Eufemiano Fuentes and the Spanish judge ordering the destruction of blood bags.
