Got the kids to bed, poured myself a pint, dinner out of the oven, all set for kick off...and it seems it kicked off at 8! Second half then...
I'd already been watching BBC1 for 5 minutes before it dawned on me. Actually, when it got to 5 to 9 and no sign of the teams coming out I was checking the internet to see whether it was a 9.15 kick off or something. Then they started talking about breaking the deadlock. Anyway, I would never watch ITV out of choice!
Me neither. I thought it was a 9pm ko too but I got lucky by turning BBC One at 6:30 and noticing that their coverage started at 7pm.
Have to say, I would have done the same except I saw a few tweets mentioning the kick off time. Good game, not exciting.
Well i wouldn't mind so much, but i've been in and out of the living room since 8 anyway, doing my ironing and watching a Family Guy DVD and it was only when the DVD player crashed at 8.45 that I put the TV on, as I was going to watch the last episode on the DVD before tuning into the footy. When I was trying to work out if it kicked off at 9:15 or 9:30 I pressed the info button on the remote to see if it had the kick off time noted and seeing the programme started at 7pm was the first inkling that something had gone wrong!
