Im saying they possibly had some money to spend but Barnsley decided to let him go for nothing (if that has been accurately reported). We could have asked for say...£150k, but didnt. (If it has been accurately reported).

He's decent. I would expect him to be quality at this level. But he's bottom end Championship standard as his career suggests.

So you think any out of contract player anywhere in the world (so not just Cranie) doesn't tout themselves around? Of course Cranie would have done. He would have been stupid to only be interested in our offer accepting whatever we offered. It's common sense he'd have looked for other offers.

Just teasing though you do deserve it a bit. From what I understand Greek football like the wider country is in a bit of turmoil. If Liam Lawrence demonstrates the qualities that get you into a top Greek team then that's underwhelming. However and it's a big however you should just admit a good player has been signed by a champions league club that's pretty bloody impressive.

 

Nope no one wanted him last year even though he held out until the last and the same will be pretty much the same.

The ones that didn't were Steele and Hassell. Steele missed early pre season with it.
