    So my phone has a Football feed as the home screen and one of the stories I've just seen is that Jeronimo Morales Neumann has signed for Newcastle Jets in Australia. This got me thinking about what a random transfer he was and a bit pointless.

    So who's everyones most random players we've signed, don't have to be foreign like Jeronimo though I'm sure most will, basically anyone that you thought was bizarre.

    The 2nd time we signed Paul Hayes. Think he was a bit of a makeweight in a deal to take Iain Hume to Preston. He looked severely out of his depth in the championship the first time around, then we brought him back and gave him game time, and he looked even more out of his depth.

    Jeronimo has been a hit in the A-League, looking sharp and quick against these defences. He was a fan favourite at Adelaide United. Either the standard in the A-League is atrocious or Barnsley never saw his full potential. I suspect it's a bit of both.

    Proper bizarre at the time.

    In terms of recently, I'd say David Fox or Jon Greening. Neither were needed as we had umpteen central midfielders, and neither were needed in terms of what they'd bring to the table.
