Sick and tired of how murky we are about transfer dealings. Why do we always hide these things? Probably because we're getting dicked again. Oh well, at least we didn't drop our pants for Sheffield United.
That is the only consolation. Whatever fee we have received MUST be invested in bringing new players to the club ASAP
Good luck Chris, thanks for all your efforts in a red shirt. My honest opinion O'Grady is the best target man in the Championship.I wish him well.
Thanks for all your efforts Chris. In my opinion, he was the best striker we've brought into the club on a permanent basis since Neil Shipperley.
Good luck to him. Always gave his all for us. Decent striker. I'll not miss our striker being pinned to the left touchline. Or was that tactics? Can't remember what the official bbs word was on that. Quite relieved he's gone though tbh. Don't get me wrong, I think he'd have done a good job for us, but if it's 'keep him and go with the what we've got' or 'move him on and bring other players in' then it's a no brainer. And I reckon that is the situation. We can move on now and get some players in. All the best to him, he's good enough for the championship. Not sure he's good enough for a team wanting promotion though.
We be interested to see how his shortcomings balance up against him playing in a better team with better service.
I'd go with best striker since Shipperley if we discount Vaz Te as a genuine striker as he is better than either.
Some of O'Grady's performances were immense. His ability to hold a ball up when played in to his chest or feet was the main reason we stopped up last year, and one of the few who can hold their head up after last season. Too very good players have left today. Good look to them both.
