At the moment, after years of struggle, your club is on the up and moving in the right direction steadily but surely. Hopefully, ours will begin to follow suit, with a prominent focus on home grown lads and without running up huge debts.
Well best of luck chaps. We're hoping for some rough diamonds from the German or Scandinavian leagues. Weve had enough of diving, tippy tappy of Spain and are looking for some northern european grit!
he is a load of rubbish, drifts out to the wing, poor first touch,we were doing ok until he turned up then the ball was always 40 foot up in the air, good luck to you but we have sold you a poor player despite what some on here are saying, most of his goals come from penaltys
All you need to know is that you have a very good striker on your hands, and in my opinion better than Ulloa, he's honest and hardworking, everything Ulloa wasn't when I saw him at Oakwell last season and the season before.
Anyone who says Chris O'grady is useless or overrated doesn't have a clue about football. An on form, fired up O'grady in a good championship team will be lethal against any Championship defence. Give him enough of the ball in the box and you're guranteed goals. He's not just a poacher either. He's got a great knack of getting shots off from a back to goal position. His work rate is endless and he'll get you a fair few assists too. Great player for Barnsley and if the manager shows belief in COG he'll be a great player for Brighton too.
Anyone who says Chris O'Grady is a good championship quality player doesn't have a clue about football. Overrated by by idiots like you
Quality player if you play to his strengths. For a 'target man' he's not particularly good in the air, but if you play it into his feet or chest he will bring others into play and he will score you goals for sure. Like others have said you'll get sick of him when he comes on to the left wing as he's wasted there but that might have just been our tactics, that's assuming we had any last season.
That comment is embarrassing. Oscar Garcia must be an idiot then too? Baring in mind he knows an awful lot more about football than you do, that must make you a massive idiot?
I still remember that home game against Leicester under Flitcroft where he absolutely ripped them to shreds. 2-0 could easily have been 5 or 6. He was better than championship quality that day.
As others have said, cracking player. But use him right. It's not his game to have the ball lumped at his head. Play it in to him and everything will stick. "Do you do loads of weights Chris?" " No, I just bench press defenders"
No yours was the most embarrassing comment mate mine as tongue in cheek. Someone not sharing you opinion doesn't mean they know nothing about football. I dont rate O'Grady thats my opinion and im not on my own. I have my own opinions on players and don't form them on the basis of Oscar Garcia is signing him so he must be good. Someone will sign Kennedy does that mean that manager i clueless
If a Championship manager signs Kennedy then yes. But a championship manager won't sign him because he's not good enough. COG on the other hand is a quality championship player. Which is why he's had a number of Championship managers chasing his services.
Just to stick my large, pedantic nose in here, gentlemen, Sami Hyypia is the manager of Brighton, not Oscar Garcia.
Oh no you're not. I'M the idiot who knows nothing about football, mate, and don't you forget it! My ignorance is legendary. There's no beginning to my talents.
Cracking player, gutted he's left. He'll score a bag full in a better team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sorry mate, I meant bfc player back to goal. Out of interest who do you think is better. I've watched us since 87 and can't think of one- closest is fjortoft Think he's worth 2 million. We need to get out of this small town mentality and start acting like a proper football club. We've been mugged off. Yet again.
