    Recently had captaincy removed, didn't go on pre season tour due to shin injury. One year left on contract. Well thought of by fans who seem to think club wants to cash in on him. Can't see a mention of move though.

    Given the SCMP rules and Coventry's 2000 ish gates that seems unlikely. Not saying we will be going for him or owt. Bit too old in my opinion anyway but those wages seem unlikely.

    I certainly rated him highly at the point he signed for Coventry. A box-to-box midfielder who scored some impressive 'Redfearnesque' goals. I still think he is good value and would add goals from midfield. Alongside Hourihane, that would significantly increase our goal threat from midfield. I would have him, as long as he is not expecting £8k as now. I can't see who else would sign him other than a League One side. He probably has missed his Championship chance and would not want to drop to League Two, so we could be well in with a shout.
