Are not responsible for bTB in cattle, as by now should be well understood. Still the Tories insist on culling badgers, rather than forcing farmers to tidy up their industry. Not only is it a waste of money, it's a waste of time. Now they want to carry on this barbaric practice unregulated, without any independent monitoring or rules. At the same time ignoring all expert, scientific advice. I've started a petition, please join me in saying no to these monsters.

You can argue there are more pressing matters in our communities and the wider world and that is probably true. But even if you don't care for wildlife please say NO to this greedy, corrupt and lying government. These animals belong to no-one and everyone - and are not theirs to kill under such scandalously false pretences.

As Ghandhi said - “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it treats it's animals and most vulnerable citizens.”

Thanks for listening, up the REDS!! :)

I'm also fundraising for the Badger Trust's upcoming showdown in court with DEFRA. Cheers.

Thanks Mr Reev. No-one explains the subject better than this man, Dominic Dyer. Stick this on in the background and it will all become very clear. The only thing he doesn't/can't go into are the real reasons behind the cull, such as land development and expansion of game farms - there, I said it!! :)

It may, or may not be a surprise to know that South Yorkshire has the shameful honour of being the badger-baiting capital of Great Britain. You might even know someone involved. The disgraceful 'sport' has got worse in recent months, with links to dog-fighting and pet theft. I know a sett near Wath which is believed to be over 600 years old, now destroyed and the animals gone.

The sick arseholes who go in for this barbarity look at the Tories culling badgers in the name of bTB and take that as a green light for baiting, digging and other illegal activities such as hunting foxes and hare coursing. There is a whole new generation, even teenagers have been recently prosecuted and jailed. Also, baiters are now crossing pit bulls with lurchers to make faster, nastier dogs - many of whom are neglected and abused in turn. Stopping the cull will not stop baiting, but suspending the badger's protective status allows all kinds of wildlife crime to flourish.

Even though I'm in London most of the year, I have joined the South Yorkshire Badger Group, whose chair-woman is from Barnsley and I've heard, a Reds fan. If anyone is interested in getting involved, drop me a message and I will pass on the details.

One of the problems is that farmers and country folk tend to vote T*** and two things that seem to be popular with this group in society are culling and hunting. Unfortunately along with the other myriad of failings of the T***** is that these two issues will be high on their agenda. Another reason to hate 'em.

I campaigned for years to get it banned. And recently to stop the Tories repealing the Hunting Act.

We have the first wild beavers the UK has seen for 500 years currently living on the river Otter in Devon. As wildlife news goes, this is HISTORIC! But guess what? The Tory government and their henchmen in Defra and Natural England who have never seen a badger, let alone a beaver - want to 'remove' them.

So - NO BEEV FOR THEREEV!!. You can have that for nowt.
