Surely this requires a meet up in town beforehand so we can bask in thereevs aura while showering him with lavish cocktails ?

See you there, just got mine. I believe it's your turn to buy the drinks? ;)

The club just tweeted that there are only 30 tickets left so if anyone wants one be quck!

I think it's usually some like a hundred to a hundred and twenty.

I too got charged 50p as there was no option to collect from Box Office. As it said 'postage charge' I would fully expect them to honour it. Had it said 'transaction fee' I could have lived with that - 50p doesn't break the bank.

Ordered online and tried my luck at 8.50am and succeeded, despite tickets not going on sale until a supposed 9am.

Not the best experience but still happy.

I called the club number that is printed on your season ticket receipts (looks like a match day ticket), the number was 0871 226 6777. I called at 9:03 and I spoke to someone at 9:14, I expected a wait so I didn't mind, unfortunately the bloke told me he couldn't register me with a ticket as it wasn't possible over the phone and I was directed to the online service. It wasn't the box office I spoke to, more like a call centre? I'm guessing ticket master. So the call cost me £1.40 at 10p per minute.

I then went online and got the tickets straight away after registering.

I don't mind paying the 50p delivery (or transaction fee) or paying the £1.40 as this event is free and I know i'll enjoy it, but had this been for a match ticket I'd have been disappointed.

I'm guessing others called the box office barnsley number? In the past when I call this i always get a message saying call a different number starting 0871 and so i didn't both with the 01226 number and just called the number that appears along the bottom of match day tickets.

This could have been communicated a bit better.

All this said I can't wait for the event :)
