    She was a couple of rows in front of me and tried to catch it but it was coming down too fast. Got applauded off like footballers do when they leave the field and then she got some more when she came back. She was smiling about it.

    All the bowling apart from Bresnan was pretty poor tonight. They are really missing Plunkett.

    Credit to Notts though. I thought we bludgeoned the ball around but they matched it and some more. When Franklin came on it was game over. His first two went for sixes. His winning one went so high and so far I had no idea which direction it went. Probably still coming down as I was leaving the ground.

    Great first half, rubbish second. Sounds like Oakwell on most days
