Rumours have it he's in the Dale squad at Macc tonight. Opinions?

Seem to remember he played on loan with you when Flitcroft was over-seeing free fall.

    And I meant David. Obviously.

He's good at passing it backwards.

    He's **** at corners.

    Other than that err....
    Forgettable loan player.

Not as bad as they're making out.
Good engine on him and some decent skill. Thought he did OK in his first few games but then the malaise that blighted our season took hold of him and he faded away just like the rest of the squad.
Probably do well in Div 1

Typifies everything wrong with the modern day midfielder.

    Not one single attribute.

Thrived at this level before, but he offered next to nothing either defensively or in an attacking sense for us last season. But then, I always thought Jay Rodriguez and Jon Walters were **** when we had em on loan, and Chris Wood.

    Cack.

Probably no worse than Daws or Perks and in honesty probably has more talent but didn't chase around pointlessly as much ergo he was worse

A typical modern midfielder. Can't shoot, make a killer pass, tackle or dribble.

    Keith will love him

I believe that it is a midfielders job to either tackle well, break up play and start attacks or be at the centre of attacks, drive the team forward and score goals. Preferably both. He did neither. Bang average.

    First few games looked decent.

    Was dreadful after that.

    Best of luck.
