Just watched M'Voto's header on MUTV twitter thing

    My thoughts entirely.

    I 'think' he'll come good for us. Very good even. But only with backing and support. He's a quiet, shy lad who needs the arm round him treatment. I think Danny'll be that figure he needs.

    Just be nice if folk let him have a proper run of games, and then judged him. If he fails, he fails. I know folk think he was like Cafu for us in every game, John Stones, but he really wasn't. He made mistakes, wasn't always great, but Keith kept him in there and he reaped the rewards/benefits of that.


    I am in no way suggesting RNL will be like Stones. Just saying that like John, and Butterfield before that, these lads will only get better with games/time/patience. I expect Danny to start preaching that to the masses soon. I could easily be talking about Hourihane, Winnall, Digby, Jennings here. They're young lads finding their feet in the game. I'm getting behind them and staying there.

    Not telling folk what they should do. If folk want to rip RNL or Rose, or whoever to pieces, so be it. Each to theirs.

    Well we've now got a squad mainly of young, lower league players and our own youngsters. Wilson and co must think that they'll be capable of adapting and progressing if what the likes of Winnall are saying in their interviews are what's being said behind the scenes.

    Acid test is how much patience they'll get rom the stands and on here - given how one or two on here resemble spoilt school bairns when everything isn't to their exact liking I doubt how much leeway the new squad will get unless we're top 6.

    This season has to be viewed as the start of rectifying the mis-management of previous seasons and not as a do or die season. That goes for those who hire and fire too.
