Some decent stuff from the Reds up to now. Winnall linking up very well and looking good. Rose not been involved. Berry looking good as too Hourihane and Abbott. Dudgeon started well. Brown not really been tested.

Wednesday looking decent but not yet tested Davies. Cranie and Nyatanga looking solid.

We look very solid defensively which is encouraging, both Brown and Dudgeon look like good acquisitions and Nyatanga just looks that bit sharper than he did when he played last season.

Hourihane and Berry both look lively and capable of creating. What I saw of Bailey last week, he would compliment them both perfectly.

Rose has been very lively early on, causing problems and put himself in the ideal position to score.

    Very promising signs so far.

Wednesday free kick. Tipped over by Davies.

corner comes in and bounces through for a goal kick. Wednesday looking toothless and devoid of ideas. Barnsley comfortable.

**** game of football. Perfect advert for not doing friendlies at a tenner a pop.

However, I've been pleased with us. Solid at the back, bossed midfield (Abbott MOTM) and Winnall and Rose busy up top. Wednesday though are ******* dogshit. Their fans reckon it's their reserve team, and I hope for their sake it is because they're abysmal.

Get a few other lads on second half, hopefully stay lucky with injuries etc, and look forward to Crawley.

    You Reds.

    First impressions:

I haven't a b'stard clue who anyone is. Not helped by the fact that the youtube footage is being broadcast in a different aspect ratio to how it's being filmed.

Great football down the left. Good cross and Rose should have done a lot better with a point blank header

Sam Winnall getting in some promising positions and due a bit of luck. Good goalkeeping, goal line clearances and the woodwork all thwarting him.

    Nana on for Rose.

Didn't see much of the game as I had to go out. What did strike me was how much more imposing we looked in midfield with some taller players.
