Is it worth getting, IM missing my fix of reds action but wanted to know how good quality is. I know theres been problems in the past with the live feeds.
I say yes. It's great to be able to see the interviews etc and personally I like to watch the full match replays from away games I might not have been able to attend. It depends how much you plan to use it, but it's pretty cheap.
Definitely worth it in my opinion, also the club gets more money from your subscription than you actually pay apparently.
I find it worth it. Commentary is of good quality. They slacked on full match replays a bit last year, but I'm hoping they'll be more likely to get on top of them if we're actually winning some games.
I have had it for a few years and will probably get it again. However I expected to be able to get commentary on my ipad when not at home but you can only get it on a PC.
If you use the football league app you can also get it on your iPad/iPhone You can also use photon browser as well. The all is easier though
Good for commentary, I thought there was a big drop in replays and other videos last season as they seemed to be more bothered about youtube. Hopefully that will pick up again this season, still worth it though you can, on football league app.
I have the app, can someone tell me how to listen to live commentary. I asked this before on here and got no answer. Thanks . There is text commentary.
hard to explain without actually doing it, be you need to be logged in to player on the on the app, and once games started you click on the fixture and then a play button appears to play the commentary
You need Flash, I coudn't listen on the hubby's phone for 3 quarters of last year until I saw someone on here mention Flash and once we installed it it worked fine. If you install Puffin browser that will allow you to download Flash player.
I have iphone which doesn't have flash, The play button appears on the football league app. not talking about accessing player via the browser/safari but the seperate FL app. definitely a play button to listen to commentary im sure of it
Thanks people. I will continue to sort it now I know it can work. I have an android phone and an iPad mini and I believe flash is not supported by apple products. Andytyke has an Iphone and play button appears on the app? JamDrop, is your phone android?
Just as a heads up the FL app commentary link usually isnt there until kick off so its hard to check it out in advance and you dont get any of the pre game build up which you do if you connect via the website - no idea why not As Gally says above you can also use the photon browser - but that requires a little bit more faffing about and you need to pay for it - not expensive - I think it cost me about £2.99 a couple of years ago but you can get pre match commentary build up with it. It also has the advantage that you can view other flash sites so personally I think it was worth the outlay though it is a bit clunky to use
just state the football league app as nowt to do with the device supporting flash, you can watch player video's on it too whether the device supports flash or not
