He's available I believe. Served his suspension.

Brilliant. Should be great to see Treacy and Jennings on the wing

This Saturday will be the first opportunity I've had this season to watch us play, and I'm looking forward to finally see this young set of lads in action.
From what others have said, it does seem like we've missed Jennings the past few games, and that Berry hasn't done much being pushed out on the wing.

Problem was yesterday is that Berry was getting pulled inside and that was leaving Brown exposed which made him look worse than he was.

Mmm. We're all aware that he's a central player, so you can see why. Difficult for the lad to make the step up in quality of football and straight into a position he's not overly confident in. Doesn't seem like he'll be in the starting 11 with Jennings back, as you'd expect Hourihane and Bailey to start in front of him.
He's still young though, and we have him on a long contract, so hopefully we'll see him come good.

I thought berry played well in the first game at home against crewe, in his natural position, we've seen over the past few years that playing lads out of position bites you on the arse. Jennings will probably be the first name on the team sheet I reckon.

Do people actually remember how poor and u fit Jennings liked v Crawley. Woul be nowhere near the team for me until he lost weight and got fit.

Jennings is a match winner and his defensive abilities aren't bad either. He has to start as Berry doesn't offer enough out wide. We will have much more balance about us with Treacy and Jennings on the wing. Will be great helps for our fullbacks too.

really? because against Crawley he couldn't get past anybody and looked so slow I would have fancied myself against him even at my age!

There's a difference between being well built and overweight....

The kids not overweight, he's a stocky little unit. I'd put him straight back in, then we can let Reece Brown concentrate on his defending ( which first and foremost he is in the team for ). Treacy and Jennings on each wing is a scary proposition for any team in this league on there day.

So what are you suggesting then? That he shouldn't play for us again? People complain about playing players out of position. Yet we have potentially the best winger in the league and people would rather see him on the bench for a centre midfield player who looks uncomfortable.

Yes Jennings didn't play brilliant but don't forget he also had a great attempt stopped by a wonder save from Jensen. Not many players in our squad could cut inside and strike a ball like that.

jeez talk about an over reaction, just pointing out in the first game he looked slow and couldn't beat his man, did I say never play him again? err no just couldn't see what you were basing your opinion on based on this seasons performance so far, and 'wonder save' really? it was a good save from a good shot from distance no more

Danny Wilson now has the option to go with two wide men if he so desires, or stick with a three man midfield. He could also do both and play with a lone striker.

He was actually our only threat in the first half against Crawley but he was poor in the 2nd half & the full back seemed to work him out.

What last season showed is that Jennings needs games to get fit, I think dropping him would have the opposite effect

Against Crawley he was poor just like last season (his one shot aside). His hot head cost us at least a point too. Since that match we've taken 4 points from six and not lost in the league. No way should he be rewarded by being put straight back in the starting line up. I'd rather see Cole start.

I don't really mind which one starts. If one of them comes off the bench i'd expect both to tear the defenders tired legs.

On his day, in form and fully fit, he's a terrific asset. But he's very inconsistent and very predictable. He does look better after a run of games though, and so he'd probably start for me but I'll leave it to Danny to decide.

No better than RNL though, if the latter was given the same kind of run (regardless of form) and in his favoured position. Think he's scored as many goals in far less games too. Would love to see both of them in the side together, thought this would be the season for that. But Treacy's here now and it'd be nice if he started delivering because by all accounts he's a spare wheel when we've not got the ball.

Talented lads all of em. Plenty of options. We're grumbling over positives I think.

    PLAY EM ALL! :D
