"We've seen it many times with other players and the slightest problem makes them not want to play"

Love Wilson. He talks a lot of sense.

Massive positive difference to the last 2 managers we've had here.

I just wish he would stop bigging up the opposition. it's as though he is preparing us for defeat or he is worried.

It seems to me he's trying to manage some supporters' attitude towards the opposition, showing these teams respect rather than adopting the Sheffield Wednesday style of condescension.

"We showed them too much respect" One of the most used phrases after a defeat.

If Barcelona came i would want us to show them no respect and hammer em for 6.

Whereas I would want us to show every opposition respect (be they Barcelona, Manchester City, Gillingham or Stocksbridge Park Steels), but fear none of them.:)

I found the comment regarding Cole being competition for Tracey and Jennings interesting, I thought Cole was a striker but it appears he can play as a winger as well, which is great as we are lacking in that area.

Does anyone know where Cole played on Tuesday night? Up front or on the wing?

I also thought with 4 strikers on the books we wouldn't look for a 5th striker/target man, but if Cole is a winger/striker then I guess we could carry a 5th striker, which is great.
