Which was our best 11 players in each position?
Think Muller when he first came was head and shoulders above Steele, although Luke was world class on his day.

Toss up between Trippier and Shotton for right back, but I'd choose Trippier as he was as good going forward as defending. And the free kicks..

Foster and Moore or Shackell and McShane for centre half partnerships?
    You decide..

    Left back..? Dickinson, Golbourne

    Holding midfield.. Colace, Anderson, Drinkwater..
I'd say Anderson on his day.

    Attacking midfield.. Howard, Butterfield..
    I'd go with Howard.

Wingers.. Devaney, Hammill, Vaz Te, JCR, .. McIndoe?

Strikers.. O'Grady, Davies, Bogdanovic, Ferenczi, Macken..

From those I couldn't choose a best 11. It's all about opinions though so you lot decide.

I must have watched a different Darren Moore to everyone else. He was a brilliant communicator but his legs had completely gone by the time he played for us and was just an accident waiting to happen.

As for Souza. He was even more of a calamity. I must be in the minority of wanting my centre halves to be able to defend!

    I'm the same as you.

I loved Darren Moore as a player but he belongs nowhere near Shackell, Shotton, Foster etc for me as he was way past his best when we got him.

Souza was someone I never rated. I'd take our two current centre backs over him every day of the week
