    Me neither. However, after just looking at it on Google maps it appears it's just off the M5, so I'm surprised I've missed it.

    The average temperature between November and March doesn't get above -5 Celsius. For December, January and February it's usually about -20. The record low is -48.5. The highest ever recorded temperature in December is a whopping 5 Celsius. The average number of snowy days in January is 25 or pretty much every day. If it isn't exactly the middle of nowhere, you can certainly see it from there. He's going to have a great time. Having a bit of trouble stopping myself laughing.

    Don't think they care much about football though. The ground only holds 6,000. The club is only 4 years old, this will be their first season in the Premier League, which is a pretty impressive rise. Main sport appears to be Ice Hockey.

    No idea how someone like him will cope out there.

    He was apparently uncomfortable living in South Yorkshire as he missed his friends & family so God knows what he'll be like out there

    And wait till he finds out there isn't a Nandos.

    EDIT Apparently there is KFC, McDonalds, Subway and Burger king though so he should be okay unless Putin decides to shut them all down.

    Correct - solid ice hockey territory round there. Ufa is the capital of the autonomous republic of Bashkotarstan, which probably doesn't mean much to anyone on here. It's most famous export is Zemfira, Russia's biggest alt-rock star. She's actually very good.

    It's funny he's signed for them, he's going to hate it, but is he safe? I mean, let's be reight, some Russians aren't the most enlightened people and racism can be a big problem. What would you say the percentage of black people is in UFA?

    Seeing the lad with a big WTF? expression on his face will be funny, seeing him get hurt won't. Has he made a daft decision or a really idiotic one?
