Poor organisation where I went in. East stand lower four turnstiles and three were for ticket holders with hardly anybody going through them. Massive queue at the cash one. I would guess this was the same everywhere. Lesson is buy a ticket in advance I suppose but I bet some people missed the kick off because of that stupid arrangement

    Aye, I missed k.o.
There were some unhappy people in my queue. Turnstile operator on the cash entry line, refusing to take a ticket off a bloke who had also got cash for kids to enter. Operator insisted they used separate turnstiles. End result, kid through turnstile on his own, Dad sent to back of "people with tickets" queue.

I thought the club had sorted this kind of shambles out.

Complete opposite for Upper Tier. Three turnstiles for cash with small queues, one for tickets with a huge queue. Only 4,200 of us there and I had to queue for over 10 minutes to get in.

But if you'd walked round the corner there was no queue for the East Stand Upper for ticket holders and a great big queue for pay on the day.

Same for us...missed the first 13 minutes, me and my mate went through first, my lad next, his girlfriend following .....' sorry luv no concessions left
go and join the back of another queue', I always blamed The Don for the lack of organisation, perhaps I was harsh.
I remember going to the Wednesday game when Halfredsson scored, West stand at that time for us, one gate for season ticket holders, queues 50 yards long...2 or 3? turnstiles for pay on the gate, hardly anyone using them...missed the first two goals.

This is not rocket science BFC, FFS get it sorted Ben

Never go in the East Stand so didn't know there were further turnstiles around the corner. Shouldn't this be something that the stewards could organise?

Organise is not a word in the BFC manual.

We didn't know either but just took the chance because the queue at the Ponty side was ridiculous. Well out of our comfort zone when the Ponty is shut!

Yeah I don't understand why people don't go early, watch the prematch entertainment or maybe watch the player profiles or recent highlights on the big screen scoreboard.

Anyone who's been to oakwell before, should know the sort of people they employ on the turnstiles, so get there 30 minutes before kick off, then they can take all the time the world to find £3 or £8 in change, and remember how to press their foot on a pedal, or how to get "this zapper thing to zap this bar code thing"

See earlier post. Got there just before half seven, security lass wouldn't let me in. Spartacus and his mates turned up too and she wouldn't let them in.

Buy ure tickets pre match or print em at home is my STRONG advice. Mr N Ightmare is correct in saying there are some reight muppets on the turnstiles but there are some good uns, but not many.

Quite a lot of em are bloody wendies n all which is true I can assure you.

I do advise buying tickets pre match though.

I got in late too by a few minutes but that's because we arrived a few mins late. Went in through the gates at the Ponty End, I didn't even know that those ones were East Stand gates, I always walk all the way around but I saw people going in and knew that Ponty was shut so it must lead to the East. There was about 5 people in front of me but a guy who went in the one next to me wasn't allowed to buy a kid ticket as his door just said 'adults' so he was sent to the 'adults and concessions one' that I was at (I had no concessions, just it was the first turnstile). No idea why they couldn't just sell him a kid's ticket.

Was same at the Crawley game. Arrived 15 mins before KO at east upper paying cash and missed first 10mins in the slowest queue ever. Only one cash turnste and 3 ticket ones all empty
