If true that's a cracking effort considering it's the Dulux cup, must be the attraction of playing a massive club like us We genuinely might only have that many home fans turn up!
They just want to come and soak up the big ground atmosphere, seeing as the last time they came we had a totally different ground. Shame there will be about 20,000 empty seats to look at but never mind. I wish it had been at Bootham Crescent. Used to love going there, mainly because we always seemed to win there.

I get through and get a lift home for league games but no chance for tonight....
I'm here and there looks to be a decent following from York tbf. Maybe not as many as 500 but a fair few for a Tuesday night cup game.
Yeah mate Made some noise didn't they Fair play to them they were a decent side Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Shows how much I know, 521 was announced, though it looked less than that. Very good effort from York that.
521 is a great effort from them but that's only about 1/12 the capacity of that stand - apart from for some of the big local teams, we ought to put away fans in the bottom end of the West.
Agreed. Then have our commercial guy get in touch with companies who'd hopefully pay to take up some of the stand with advertising netting over seats. It's a prime location as goals/action at that end of the ground would have your company seen both on tv and in print media plenty of times. Could make a few thousand per match from doing it, which would make up abit of the shortfall of lower away followings which would be stuck in the west stand.
Yeah exactly, I noticed Wednesday had two massive pukka pies adverts covering the lower tier of their away end last week...we seem to be much more commercially savvy under this new regime so I'm sure we could do the same.
Fingers crossed. Could make it so companies of different turnovers can get involved. Richer ones can afford biggger adverts, but smaller companies can afford to take up a small amount of seats.
Only problem I can see with that, is both sets of fans can mix. Long time since I've been in the West Stand, but I remember being able to access any where in that stand.
They must be able to segregate it as we've given teams that in addition to the south stand on occasion - Leeds, Wednesday, Man City (I think) have all had that area.
