We live in a very sick and at times barbaric world. The news and scenes coming out of Iraq and Syria have been appalling and just show how nihilistic some people can be. Regardless of the motives for this I find it impossible to comprehend that somebody could do this to anybody never mind an old woman.
"the man is in hospital being treated for injuries suffered when he was arrested" That made me angrier than anything else, this ******* world angers me!
Strange thing was it never got a mention on Bbc or Itv tea time news, but headlines on Sky news, and it happened about half one, ????????????????

I heard about it on radio 4 at about 1700hrs and it was like fourth on the bulletin. Not "we interrupt this broadcast with terrible news" but "the bank of England has kept interest rates at 0.5%... A woman has been beheaded in London and a man arrested... The NATO summit..." wait wtf?!
My girlfriend works as a paramedic in that area and actually treated the man and a police officer at the scene because it's her job and she has to, I was very shocked when she told me she'd been to a beheading incident!
Agree re Iraq and Syria. Check out some of the games being played by youngsters youngsters on their x boxes etc - make Syria and Iraq look like a tea party.
Yeah she's okay thank you, apparently he was hand and ankle cuffed and had 2 armed police officers standing over her whilst she treated him
Hahah yeah she said it crossed her mind but it would've probably resulted in a sacking for her I guess
