Just watching on SSN now, from St George's park. Training session supplemented by three players from the U21s - Christie Pimm, Harrison Reed & Paul Digby. Well done Diggers! He must be very highly thought of. Great experience for the lad.

He's definitely there. Live now and he's there on the pitch with the full squad. Awesome for the lad. Watching him laughing with John Stones. The Academy guys must feel so proud watching this footage.

Not bad for a young lad who is supposedly ****, according to some. Well done, young Paul. Another example of how well our Academy is doing when producing decent players for the current first team squad, so credit to Ronnie Branson & Mark Burton, too.

    Great learning experience for him.

I remember hearing a few months back that one of the benefits of St. George's Park is that all the age groups train there so that if there's an injury to a player then they can get someone from the lower ages to make up the numbers.

Digby's probably got the call because Colback's an injury doubt & I believe the U-21's are away.

Looking forward to seeing him appear for us in the league as he's gone a while without an injury so will hopefully be in great condition

Branson and Burton for me are easily in the top five most important people at the club. We change managers and move on. We've changed board members with Rowing replaced by Mansford. Players come and go too. Obviously if we lost them two we'd move on but it would be more difficult than other positions within the club to replace.

That's a fair assessment, in my opinion.

Fantastic for the lad. Only for experience I'm sure but great that he's in their thoughts.

I just hope he gets through any injury niggles he's had and breaks into the squad. To see Digby, Bree, Abbott & Cowgill in the squad this year, would be amazing. Add Stones & Butterfield to the list as well, the Academy looks like it's doing great. Feels to me like RNL just won't make the grade though. Might as well let him go for me, try his luck somewhere else, like Danny Rose.

I've always thought the situation with Digby is quite strange. He's always been involved in the England youth set ups from what I've seen but never had a proper run in our team. I hope we see him have a good run of games and stays injury free, although saying that I'm not sure where he would fit in to our first 11 at the minute.

He only needs a run in our team and we'll all see how good a talent he is. He doesn't seem to stay injury free for long enough though and at the minute he's rightfully behind Abbot who hasn't put a foot wrong since being given his chance.

Good stuff. He seems to be regularly fit now, at last. Perhaps Danny and the staff know what they're doing? Not rushing him or owt. No reason to, while ever the likes of Conor, Abbott, Bree, Berry, Bailey etc are doing well in midfield. As above, cracking problem innit?

    Sheer laziness.

Nearly put JB instead of Bailey but there's only one JB...

I'm not understanding this.. is he training with full International squad, U21's or U19's? If hes with full int, is he on the reserve list? does this mean hes better than the U21's that's travelled?
