    Coronation Club in Thurnscoe - Wedneday night

    Goldthorpe Hotel Friday and Saturday night..........lets just say I've been in a few bars in my time.......this is the best

    Rest of the week.........roaming around the Barnsley / Wakefield / Doncaster area that had a pub that had women, music and beer......but most importantly, women

    Occasional trips to Sheffield where they had things like the Beer Kellar...........and the fantastic Crazy Daizy

    In Barnsley itself..........there has been no HOTTER bar than Antonios which was at the junction of Wakefield Road and Burton Road (which was near Asda int TARN).

    Its since been demolished..........fooking hell fire............I use to foook for England in that bar

    I think gay guys owned it and they provided the sort of atmosphere which was probably taken from the well known Amsterdam Bar in Huddersfield.
    Pussy Cats in Wakefield was also another gay sort of run bar.
    Gays were not accepted as they are today...............hence the new film PRIDE..........which is interesting

    But what happened at those bars was far from being gay
