Its so that when the 'no' campaign is victorious Dave can claim he did his bit. After the referendum it’ll be chucked back in the Downing Street cellars with the wine and whisky.

 

I'm 100% English but the more desperate these pillocks become the more convinced I am that if I were Scottish I'd be voting Yes.

You are very vocal in wanting to separate from England and how you can't wait (fair enough) but if anyone says they can't wait for Scotland to be gone then you take offence. You can't have it both ways. You can't say that you can't wait to party at the seperation and then not accept people in England telling Scotland to remove all links and fook off.

Hey JD I'm only standing my ground pal. I'm no English hater, in fact quite the opposite. I really like you guys and I'm really enjoying the banter over this.
My repy to marc was to point out that if England were to, as he said put up the borders, remove businesses and with hold the pound and let us get on with it. Then I replied that we do own the oil fields, which is exactly why Cameron is beginning to panic, so we possibly could with hold delivering oil to you and keep it all to ourselves.
Of course none of this will happen, just a wee bit of banter and fun between us.

But I'm Scottish and do have 1 vote. None of you guys do. For me Scotland has been harshly treated throughout the years, especially by Tory govts and now we are given a chance for Scotland to make decisions for Scotland. I must vote 1 way or the other and for me its YES.

No hatred on my part towards the rank and file English, especially on here but I do despise Westminster and all within it. Like Barnsley, we in Dundee are well used to being **** on by them "darn sarf" so now its pay back time.

Of course it might be the NO's who win the election, then I'm afraid we here in Scotland will be right in the brown stuff. Them at Westminster will not forget this.

I think it will be a 'no' vote but I hope the Scots have the courage to go it alone Bud. There is no future for Scotland in a Tory state: take control of your own destiny. My great hope is it wakes us dozy northerners up and we decide to take control of our own lives too. This is 21 century Britain and that means things have changed. To the policy makers and politicians nothing matters except the political, cultural and economic powerhouse that is London and the South East. We just need to smell the coffee. Scottish independence might force us to do that because we would then be facing permanent Tory rule!

 

What I think would be great is if we could have a vote in the rest of Britain to see what we think? Scotland narrowly vote to stay in the Union, and we turn around and say 'well actually we've had a vote and we want you out - off you go'. Lol Btw the percentage of the national debt that you owe is x - can we have that now please? no we don't accept Iron Bru or short bread as payment. Oh yes, we're keeping the gas and oil because you have no army to reinforce it with. Still we'll sell it back to you at a fair rate (not for iron Bru or short bread tho). You can keep the pound just as long as Edward Longshanks is printed on yours.

The way in which Darling and the rest of the proven lying NO's have conducted themselves is utterly shameful. They alone have helped the YES gain a foothold in this final run in. Project Fear has badly misfired.

Gonna be really interesting to see the reception Cameron, Milliband and thon other diddy get when they make an appearance tomorrow.
