Whens best time to book? i.e. is there a period in advance when they are cheaper?

Looking to go down at back end of November or would I get best deals now or in a few weeks?

You ever thought of flying from Leeds/Bradford? We've done it a few times, especially when going to Heathrow and onwards. 35 minutes flight time and all very straightforward.

not for this trip - too much hassle.

Wife's sister is visiting us from the States and we are taking a trip to London for a few days whilst she's here, think she'll like the fact we can be in London in 3 hours by train!

I tried megabus (for the train) and they weren't offering tickets that far in advance, finished week before. So seeing as I got them for £21 return each I was happy enough with that. Thanks anyway.

I've done Megabus (bus) before and it was fine.

Set an east coast alert and get tickets 12 weeks in advance.
